oils and watercolors. From 1883 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts at MC Klodt, was awarded a large silver medal (1886), a small gold (1887), and a large gold medal and the title of classroom artist 1-th degree for his film "The Oaks". From 1887 regular participant of exhibitions. In the years 1889-1891. as a pensioner Arts traveled to France, Italy and England. Last Landscapes "Before the Storm" (1893, RM) and "Normandy Coast" (1893) received the title of academician. From 1897 to 1902. led the Society of Russian watercolorists in St. Petersburg, which included Albert Benois, AP Bogolyubov, MP Klodt, K.Ya. Kryzhitsky, LF Lagorio. Exhibition of paintings held in 1904 in St. Petersburg. His works are in the Tretyakov Gallery and Museum, many other regional and national museums.
