Cannes (s)
More correctly, in my opinion, to speak about the city of Cannes "Cannes" (plural) rather than "Cannes". The last word surely closer to the French pronunciation, but historically in the Russian language was fixed the name "Cannes". We do not say "Paris" (Paris), as there is the historical name "Paris". Same with other geographical names - Rome /Roma, Beijing /Beydzin, etc. At a recent memory in an attempt to Minsk pereinachit Manx (they de so they say). If someone instead of "Basel" say "Bal" (ie, Bale), then it will just be illiterate.
