conjunction with the Museum of Moscow, with the support of the British Embassy and Tea Ahmad Tea is a new project «Graphic Pre-Raphaelites. The Last Knight of the Victorian era », continues to introduce audiences to the avant-garde tendencies in British art of late XIX - early XX centuries.

Pre-Raphaelite movement was formed in Great Britain at the end of the last century as a protest against the prevailing academic painting, against the conventions and traditions. They praised the beauty and aesthetics, and this philosophy has penetrated into all aspects of cultural life: from architecture and landscape design and finishing and publishing.

Founded by artists-the Pre-Raphaelites Bern Johnson and Morris Publishing Kelmscott Press and produced their book had an enormous impact on the illustrators, designers and decorators, not only in Britain, but the whole world. It was they who built the printing press to the rank of art. Book as art object; design as an integral part of the publication.

The exhibition features 44 prints from the book «History of Cupid and Psyche», created by one of the greatest painters and designers of the XIX century. They were printed in a limited edition of 1973. This is the first exhibition of graphic arts pre-Raphaelite in Russia.

The exhibition is organized jointly with the Museum of Moscow with the support of the English brand Ahmad Tea and held in a unique space - Old English Court, is located in the historical center of Moscow. As at previous exhibitions, the gallery INARTIS aims to create a creative environment that allows you to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the project. October 16 gallery held a tour of the exhibition and the traditional 5 o'clock tea with tea Ahmad Tea.
The exhibition will be held from October 14 to December 14 in the chambers of Old English Court.
