BOKSHAY Iosif I. (1891 - 1975)

Born Oct. 2, 1891 in Glade s.Kobyletskaya Rakhiv district, Transcarpathian region.
In 1914 he graduated at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1948.
Honored Artist of Ukraine (1951).
Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1958).
People's Artist of Ukraine (1960).
People's Artist of USSR (1963).
Together with A. Erdely organized the first art school in the Carpathian region.
He died in 1975 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian region.

Didyk Hope Yaroslavovna
Born on 24.01.1954 at g.Stry, Lviv region.
1970-1975 - Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, Department of Simulation Suit ".
Educators in the specialty - V. Manastyrsky, V. Cherkasov.
Working as a teacher in the college of arts. A. Erdelyi Transcarpathian Art Institute.
Since 2003 - Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Works in the decorative style of impressionism.

  In 1965 he graduated from the graphic department of the Kiev State Art Institute.

 Born in 1945 in s.Turya Glade.
 In 1964 he graduated from Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts.
 Educators in the specialty - V. Svyda, A. zhaypa, M. Medvetsky.
 Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1989. Works in easel painting.
 Winner of the regional award im.Y.Bokshaya for 1996.
 Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2005.

Blessed memory of artist Vyacheslav Prikhodko
 

Tuesday, January 11, at the seventieth year of life had stopped beating heart of the People's Artist of Ukraine, Vyacheslav Prikhodko.

 For us, Vyacheslav Prikhodko was the personification of a real man, a man with a capital letter - a wise, peaceful, tolerant, sincere, cheerful. God takes the best. Sad ....

Ukrainian-Hungarian painter. Master Transcarpathian landscape and still life.
Born March 3, 1913 in g.Klerton, USA. In 1936 - graduated from the Industrial Art School in g.Gablontsi, Czechoslovakia. Educators - K. May, R. Fleysner, I. Prochazka. Since 1937 - has lived and worked in Uzhgorod. Since 1957, he participated in national exhibitions. His works are in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, USA, Canada and Japan. Since 1972, he moved to Hungary.
