Tretyakov Gallery will show works from the collections of the Louvre and Orsay Museum
In the State Tretyakov Gallery on September 22 will host an exhibition of graphic works by European artists from the collections of the Museum d'Orsay and the Louvre, according to the website gallery.
Among imported from France works will include paintings Paul Rubens and Jan Brueghel the Elder, Anthony van Dyck, Nicolas Poussin, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Paul Gauguin and Paul Signac. The message of the Tretyakov Gallery notes that brought in Russia work very rarely leave France and are not included in the permanent museum Orsay and the Louvre. Display of works from the collections of French museums will take place within the Year of France in Russia. At the opening ceremony of the choir of the church of St. Nicholas in Tolmachi and the musicians union performers FERMATISSIMA.
