One of my correspondents expressed the conservative assumption that this figure belongs to a vanished legacy of a remarkable Jewish artist Abram Brother. Signed work: AB (Probably made during the German occupation of Belarus). I was shown another job (Photos do not allow) with the signature and the same size, suggesting that a post of a given product. (Painted greeting card).
Abram Markovich Brother (1892, Chisinau - 1942, Minsk), sculptor, graphic artist and zhivopisets.V 1914 Brother graduated from National School of Fine Arts and returned to Russia. For two years he devoted to Petrograd, took part in the exhibition "World of Art" (1916), and in 1918 - in an exhibition of Jewish artists. As schedule, mostly carried out his work in watercolor, ink and pencil. He died during World War II in the Minsk ghetto.
