Biography:
Guetsky Simha Nusenovich (Semen Natanovich) (1902 -1974) - Ukrainian painter. Member of the Union of Artists. He studied in 1921 in Zhitomir Vocational Art School in A. Kantserova, then until 1929 - at the Kiev Art Institute from F. Kirichevskiy, M. Boychuk, L. Kramarenko. He worked as animators at the Kiev Film Studios. Veteran of WWII. Mature part of his life the artist lived in Kiev. Semen Guetsky - author portraits VI Lenin's historical paintings of the Revolution and the Civil War. From the picturesque genres favored portraits, still life, seascape. The participant of republican and All-Union Exhibition, exhibitor museums (his work "Smolny. 1917" (1957) was purchased by the Dresden Gallery). In 1973, SN Guetsky received the title of Honored Artist of USSR and the Badge of Honor ". Artworks Seeds Guetskogo stored in Zhytomyr Regional Museum, in the collections of art museums and private collectors from Ukraine, Russia and European countries.
