That's what I got:
The analysis of soil and pigments of the paint layer pattern.

In order to study a sample of soil from the edge of the canvas, and 5 samples of painting. Methods:
Made Microsections transverse slices painting, Microsections studied in reflected polarized white light and in light of the visible luminescence excited by UV rays. The composition of pigments of the paint layer is installed using the following methods of analysis:
IR spectroscopy, emission spectral, luminescent and microchemical analysis.

Results:
The painting on fine-grained primed canvas. Fillers ground - zinc oxide, barite, and silica, binders soil - oil and animal glue (a little).
Pigments:
Whitewash mixed: zinc, titanium and barite.
Colored pigments: green manganese, cobalt blue, cadmium yellow, ocher, black coal.

A set of pigments used by the artist, as well as the degree of drying the paint layer picture corresponds to the painting, created at the end of the second quarter - the middle of the 20 th century.
