Sinitsky Vladimir Mikhailovich (1896 - 1986)
 

There are artists whose work does not affect the large size, bright colors and picturesque maestro, but nevertheless did not go unnoticed and brings viewers a true aesthetic delight. These wizards belongs Vladimir Sinitsky, one of the oldest Ukrainian painters and one of the typical representatives of the Odessa scenic School.
Early artists of the past in his native town Kurisovom-Intercession (now the Odessa region), and the entire adult life - in Odessa. Here in the real school for talented young man drew the attention of art teacher FL Sokolovic. On his advice in 1911 Sinitsky entered the Odessa Art School, where at that time teaching the wonderful artists and educators of KK Kostandi and G. Ladyzhenskii. Later, in the 20-ies, Sinitsky continued his education at the Odessa Art Institute in PG Volokidin, who also studied with KK Kostandi Ladyzhenskaya and GA.
Recalling the years spent in school, Sinitsky wrote: "Especially a lot of us, his disciples, gave Cyriacus K. Kostandi. He developed in us the ability to see, scenic beauty and to be demanding in their work. The long-term career of an artist convinces his unwavering loyalty to the precepts of the teacher. Although he had never imitated Kostandi, always remaining himself, but two twin the purely kostandievskie features: soulful lyricism, sincere, relevant to the nature and most beautiful culture. As Kostandi, Sinitsky able to see the true poetry in a modest, unpretentious, at first glance, the landscape genre, or motif. As Kostandi, he avoids the external effects, looking for a subtle tonal combinations, the plein air painting of the original value.

While still a student at the institute, Sinitsky was adopted by the Society named KK Kostandi played a significant role in the formation and development of the Ukrainian Soviet art. Since 1927 he has participated in many art exhibitions.
Sinitsky mostly landscapes. In the pictures of native wildlife is fully realized talent and skill of the artist, the attractive features of his artistic personality: the ability to maintain intimate, confidential talk with nature, the integrity of its imaginative perception, talent colorist. Even the few story pictures Sinitsky ("Sort of tomatoes", "Hello, youthful tribe ..." etc.) - this scenery with more or less well-developed genre motifs. The portraits he likes to portray people in a landscape ("the window. Portrait of the wife"). Landscape is often an organic part of the imagery of the still life Sinitsky ("Winter Twilight"), which, as a rule, are also a tribute to the sincere admiration for the infinite variety of colorful nature. There are a master work, images of which are built on a combination of interior and landscape. This is the "Window" - modest for a motive, but couched in the invisible presence of man.

Most Sinitsky paints landscapes native Odessa ("Early Spring", "Cape of Great Fountain", "The Coast of Odessa. Spring", "Twilight on the sea", "Evening", "Odessa. Garden City", etc.). Many times he repeats it a favorite motif, finding in it a new and fresh beauty and poetry. The result of such a long entry in the image of nature and its poetic generalization is the picture of "Native coast" - one of the best works. Here lyricism combined with the epic depth.
Odessa, its long-standing cultural traditions of the subject of one of the most popular paintings, "Hello, tribe youthful ...», where the pioneers are shown in the official lineup before the monument to Alexander Pushkin.
In the master's creative heritage and a lot of Crimean landscapes ("Gurzuf. Genoese fortress", "Autumn in Gurzuf", etc.). In them the same subtle perception of the motive, the same depth of expression of feelings, the same boundless love for his native land.
In the year of his eightieth birthday Vladimir spoke at the Republican art exhibition "Glory to Labor!" Dedicated XXV Congress of the CPSU and the XXV Congress of the Communist Party of Ukraine, with a small painting "Summer Day". Lovers of art the artist had the opportunity once again to make sure that his talent and skill are timeless.
