Shargorod - Centre for Contemporary Art

The journal Russian reporter appeared an interesting article on how to make the former Jewish town of the capital of modern art.
It is a small Ukrainian town Shargorod.
I wonder what will come of it, and whether this place is popular and attract artists, curators and tourists from different countries. :)

In the mid 20-ies in Shargorod was established Jewish kolkhoz "Red Ploughman" .
  There is the 2 nd oldest synagogue in the Ukraine 16B. True, as far as I know, is there shop.
   It would be great, in the European tradition of tourism, to redeem it for artistic events.
  Recently went on the road, the heat, the field-field, some people in truselyah ... I do not know how they will live contemporary art, whether it wants in the 19 century.

This site is dedicated to the art, as well as investment in the arts.
It seemed an interesting idea of creating such a place - the center of contemporary art. In Moscow, was established winery, which is a lot of exhibitions of contemporary artists, events, exhibitions of photographs, etc. I found it interesting, is it possible to create something similar in a small town, and whether it will be popular. I propose to discuss this issue, but in a respectful manner and without conversion to the individual. :)

About three years ago (maybe four), having heard about this festival, I decided to visit this "Center for Contemporary Art. New Vasyuki "and only. This is from the area "where the infantry will not work and do not train promchitsya, sullen tank, do not crawl ..."( think so). And the steel birds are especially nowhere land ...
Roads - no, the hotels, no, all in a dilapidated condition. From the sights - Synagogue (under some storage), Church of Floriana Sharogo (in good condition) and ... the old water tower. I do not know how they hold some festivals. Investors there are not any cakes zatyanesh ... (I think so).
