Yuri D. Hertz - Ukrainian painter. Born in 1931 in the Transcarpathian region. He graduated from the IIR College of Applied Arts in 1955. He studied under J. Bokshay, A. Erdelyi, F. Manaylo. He is a member NSHU since 1969. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1990. In 1994 was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine. Shevchenko.
