Vlasov, Alexander V. [19.10 (1.11) .1900, pp. B. Kosa, now Selizharovskogo district Kalinin area - 09/25/1962, Moscow], American architect. Member of the CPSU from 1949. He graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical School (1928). In the 1929-1932 term issues. In 1944-50 the chief architect of Kiev, in 1950-55 - Moscow. In the 1955-56 president of the Academy Architecture of the USSR in 1960-62 1 st secretary of the Board of the Union of Architects of the USSR. He taught at the Moscow Architectural Institute (since 1931). Jobs: Krimsky Bridge in Moscow (1936-1938, engineer BP Konstantinov), buildings Kreshchatik in Kiev (1945-47 plan, construction in 1947, with co-authors, the USSR State Prize for the introduction of building ceramics, 1950), the Central Stadium . Lenin in Moscow (1955-56, co-authors, the Lenin Prize, 1959). He was awarded two Orders of Lenin, two other orders and medals.
