Medal to commemorate 50 years of artistic work of Professor of Painting, AP Bogoliubov, 1891. Graver A. Vasyutinskii. Minted at the Paris Mint. bronze, 46,00, the diameter of 46 mm. Preservation excellent. Iversen#DCCXLII. Rare. Aleksandr Petrovich Bogolyubov was born in Novgorod Province in 1824, was educated in the Naval Academy. In 1864, promoted to lieutenant. In 1850 he entered the Academy of Fine Arts, at the end of 1860 was promoted to professor. Later traveled and settled in Paris. In 1891 in Paris, was celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of his artistic activities, and put ANNIVERSARY such a medal.
