He graduated from Saratov Art College in 1953, participant of regional, national, zonal exhibitions. Painter. Member of the Artists Union of Russia (1976).
AD Panov studied with teachers GY Melnikov and AV Skvortsova who took the style of PS Utkin. A lot of it, and drew from his older contemporary, JH Shcheglov.
His works are in collections in Russia, Germany, Austria, Holland, USA, Israel.
