Not by chance, two such contrasting visual material of the project according to plan the museum exhibition followed one after another. It is a keen interest in the works of old masters became a characteristic feature of late of Picasso. a long time, Hungary was part of the powerful and prosperous Austro-Hungarian Empire. Among the representatives of the Hungarian aristocracy were a lot of collectors. Over time, some of their collections became part of the Budapest Museum. In general, the history of the collection took shape four centuries. It is based on the painting were purchased by several generations of princes Esterhazy, as well as representatives of the higher clergy and diplomatic elite. Updating the museum's collection went on and in the XX century, continues today. Budapest Museum is not only the largest art collections in Hungary, but one of the most significant in Europe. Especially for this meeting in Budapest was built beautiful building. December 1, 1906, in the presence of the Austrian emperor and Hungarian King Franz Joseph, it was inaugurated the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts.
Creative and exhibition Commonwealth Budapest Museum and the Pushkin them. Pushkin has always been fruitful. In 1971, Muscovites met with the exhibition "Masterpieces of Western European drawings from the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, in the same year were shown" Treasures of the Hungarian art over 1000 years. In 1973 in the Pushkin Museum hosted the exhibition "Italian Paintings XV-XVIII centuries from the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, and the treasures of the Spanish collections were shown here in 1979 at the exhibition" Spanish Painting XVI-XIX centuries from the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest. In 1998, the Budapest Museum gave a jubilee exhibition on the centenary of the founding of the Pushkin Museum, a masterpiece of El Greco's "Agony in the Garden".
At this time the exposition is based on the masterpiece paintings of the leading European school of painting XV-XVIII centuries. The centerpiece of the exhibition is "Portrait of a young man" ("Portrait of a Broccardo) Giorgione. This image is a young man immersed in thought. Among the surviving portraits by Giorgione is this most clearly embodies the main features of the style of the artist. Giorgione radically changed the world of Venetian painting, enriching its poetic atmosphere.
Another software male portrait exhibition, painted by Raphael Sanzio. In 1887 the portrait was purchased by the Hungarian State from the Esterhazy Collection. Work in an innovative spirit: instead of the usual image of Italy in the model profile, the portrait is given in three-quarter turn. A young man in the portrait around the same age as a painter, and likely belonged to the circle of humanists at the court of the Duke of Urbino.
Central masterpiece of German painting "Portrait of a young man," Albrecht Durer. The young man, dressed in simple black clothes, is shown in bright red background. His eyes dreamy, pensive. According to the fashion of that era, a man in the portrait of long hair, but they tightened a net. Above the grid usually worn beret. Its absence indicates that the suit is not official, and the home.
Another significant work of German schools - "The Crucifixion" by Albrecht Altdorfer. Works by this author are extremely rare, in particular, they are not represented in museums or private collections in Russia. "Crucifixion" - not the typical topic for creativity Altdorfer, known mainly as a landscape painter. Probably, this work was created for private client.
With the exception of the central works of the exhibition, the rest are distributed to schools. In the White Hall - Italian school (including the work of Veronese, Carracci, Karyani, Gentileschi, and others), as well as Spanish, which is especially proud of the Budapest Museum. At the exhibition, this section presents the works of El Greco, Ribera, Velazquez, Murillo, Zurbaran and Goya.
The canvas by Diego Velasquez 'The peasants of the meal, lively, elegant color, strong on the picturesque modeling, - one of the earliest in the artist. The painting belongs to the genre Bodegón - breakfast. Bodegón, popular in the Spanish art of the XVII century, allowed the artist to connect with a still-life genre scenes. As models Velazquez used ordinary people from his native Seville - as a rule, good friends and acquaintances.
Francisco Goya's painting "Girl with a Jug" or "Vodonoska" - one of the most famous museum in Budapest. Small, so-called "cabinet size" painting was purchased by the Duke Kaunitz in Madrid together with the pair painting "Grinder", and then hit the assembly of princes Esterhazy. In 1871 the work was purchased by the Hungarian state. "Vodonoska" was created after the events of the National Liberation Struggle in Spain during the Napoleonic wars. The plot is simple: at the sunset girl from the people is the men water. It is written in the traditional Spanish style: the artist stresses inherent to any Spaniard - from Grande water-carrier - a sense of dignity. This is one of the best works of Goya and painting: the strokes that thick, dense, literally lepyaschie form, light and airy. The sharp contrasts of color give way to subtle nuances, colors that erupt like a setting sun, then place a gloomy shadows. All this creates a picture of dramatic tension.
On the colonnades visitors will be able to see the work of Flemish: Peter Paul Rubens, Jordaens, Jan Brueghel the Elder, Van Dyck, French artists: Claude Lorrain, Philip Shampenya, dreams and works of Italian painters of the XVIII century: Belotti, Magnasco, Tiepolo. In the 20 hall of the museum will house a Dutch school: Cleves, Cornelis, Lastman, Frans Hals, Leavens, Jacob Ruisdael and others
Painting by Jacob Jordaens "Satyr on a visit at the peasant" is written on the subject of Aesop's fables. Jordaens created a number of works on this subject, they eagerly bought. In the permanent exhibition of the Pushkin Museum has a "Satyr on a visit at the peasant" hand of the famous Flemish.
Fans of Dutch painting will please the "View of Amsterdam" by Jacob von Ruisdael, the largest Dutch landscape painter of XVII century. Country road along the bay, houses with red tiled roofs, the tower of the cathedral, which goes to its pinnacle in the low overcast sky. Instead of an idealized nature, realistic landscape. Ruisdael sought in his paintings to recreate a humid atmosphere of Holland, and even the time of the year, with all its features, which led to the development of tonal painting, that is, the subordination of all components of a single tone pattern.

Exhibition from the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts will continue in the Pushkin Museum until Aug. 29, 2010. Based on materials published color catalog.

if allowed to take photographs. When we went to a visiting exhibition of Italians in Budapest, then told me not to make a small purse. We had to leave everything in a special safe. And in the bag were documents, money, credit cards. Lockers are also located just to the lobby. I remember that the more experienced of the normal preservation bags.

In general, usually in Hungary, such a practice ... in the permanent exhibition may be photographed, and traveling exhibitions must either pay for photographs or pictures is prohibited.

The Budapest museums chic ekpozitsii as in the National Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.

It was yesterday, all photographed next morning to lay out. That's interesting. Many paintings have stories of their creation and history along with them.

What to say about the picture? Classics she has classics. The organizers and curators were delighted with the paintings, which gave an interview then get up next to the picture in awe. For me, this impression is not produced, but a few laps I did. For the first time photographed, and the second went to read the signs next to the pictures, the third time selectively for what she liked best.
1. Goya Girl with a Jug "several paintings of Francisco Jose de Goya and Lusientis written during the war. This girl was of water on the front line. The painting is executed in a new manner of Goya, as it were a forerunner of Impressionism. This is very simplistic, I told the curator of a ten-question, which I personally listen to with pleasure and after painting, I liked.
2. Altobelli Melone "A couple in love"
3. Paolo Veronese
4. Alessandro Turks wounded Tonkred with Hermine and Vafrinom "subject - the seizure of Jerusalem, wounded Tonkredu helps hopelessly in love with him Herminia, she took a sword and cuts off her hair to dress wounds. I would be in her place, tore off a piece of her dress. In the picture all the ulterior motive, including and killed a soldier in the background. For example, he embodies the cruelty of Muslims
5. Bernardo Strozzi "Annunciation"
6. Annibale Karachi "Christ and the Samaritan"
7. Francesco Furin "Andromeda" - well, to my taste figure is not very much, although if you remember it saved her Perseus defeated the monster with the head Gargony.
8. Vechellio Titian "Entombment"
9. Diego Rodriguez de Silva Velazquez Peasants for a meal "

In the pictures a lot of home violence, and facial expressions in the commission of evil is quite calm, even business.
Also, what to look for, is that artists travel a lot. Since the time of the creation of the majority of work 1600 years, could not help thinking, but what we have at this time. But we have this time of Ivan the Terrible and the subsequent turmoil.

1. Jose de Ribera Martyrdom of St. Andrew, 1628
2. Francisco de Zurbaran, "The Holy Apostle Andrew"
3. El Greco (Domenico Teotokopuli) The Penitent Mary Magdalene
Near this picture, I lingered a little longer. Well firstly examined the skull. "The skull lying in front of a saint, a symbol of the transience of earthly existence, and climbing ivy - a sign of eternal life and fidelity to Christ." Also wondering - why did the artist paint smeared the bare breasts? In order to stay invisible or what? Then he spotted it transparent fabric, its another piece seen on the right hand.
6. Artemis Gentileschi "Solomeya takes head John the Baptist
7. Hendrick Jans Terbryuggen "The Calling of St. Matthew"
8. Wouter Peter Crabbet II "play music society"
9. Hans von Aachen "Bacchus and Ilion"
10. Ian Lees Judith with the head of Holofernes "
