Klever Julius Lessing," The forest in the swamp "
Provenance: Purchased by the grandfather of the current owner, before the war worked as a director at the oil company Esso in Hamburg. Then, the picture conveyed in the family by inheritance.

This could not come up with a German. Offensive provenance turns.
Such people as the director at the oil company Esso in Hamburg, were highly educated, highly paid people and had a taste and money. They once dominated the market of painting and bought the very best. Do not just attend an auction, where the collection would sell such people. A typical example of the last auction Schloss Ahlden, where dozens of works from the same collection sold more than a million euros. Europe-realism is the end of 19 th century.
This is the Yu clover in the clip did not lay down. If this work was incomparable decorative, then okay, you might think.
But here in comparison with the work sold at auction Koller (and Moller, both in the catalog) thing is not vazhnetskaya.
