Honored Artist of Russia (1995).
In 1935 took part in the Youth Art Exhibition in Moscow (watercolor, genre).
As a result of the exhibition with the recommendation of Professor Joseph Brodsky was adopted by the Academy of Fine Arts named. IE Repin (Leningrad).
In the years 1936-1942. studied at the Moscow Art Institute. Surikov in the studio of Professor S. Gerasimov.
In 1942-1945 years. veteran of World War II. 1943 - became a member of SH (MTH - the Moscow Association of Artists).
From 1946 - participant of more than 60 art exhibitions (All-Union, republican, Moscow and group art exhibitions in the UK, Italy).
In 1976 he held a personal exhibition in Moscow. His works are in museums of Russia (Murmansk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Arkhangelsk, Elizovo (Kamchatka), the Museum of Moscow State University (Moscow), in Central Asia (Tashkent, Samarkand and Khiva, Bukhara), the Museum of the Great Patriotic War (Moscow), as well as in private collections in England, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, France and others
