He graduated from the GHU (1946-1949) and the Institute of Cinematography (1949-1955). Painter. He worked in the field of genre painting and portraiture.

Since 1961 - a permanent participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor Area ("Big Volga", 1964, 1967, 1970, 1974), republican (Moscow, 1957, 1960)-Union (Moscow, 1961) art exhibitions.
He taught at the Gorky Art College.
