Exhibition of Valery Yegorov
 

April 9, 2010 the regional center of fine arts (Vladimir) opened an exhibition of the painter Valery Sergeyevich Egorova (22.3.1940-11.7.1998).

VS Egorov - a brilliant representative of the Vladimir school of landscape painting, has always enjoyed success with the audience, although not composed of the first artists of this art group (and belonged rather to a third of its number, if we consider the first row Yukina, Britova and Kokurina and the second - N. Modorova and Mokrov). By Vladimir V. Egorov school joined in the mid 1960's until the end of life remained faithful to its aesthetics. The fact that his paintings there, in our opinion, some like vihlyavost, the smoothed language of art is called "creative restlessness of the artist," his unwillingness to be satisfied reached and found, "he - in motion, on the way." These are the words Olesya Voronova, the first of the researchers, giving special attention to the Vladimir and dedicated them to become an event in the intellectual life of the album "Vladimir landscape painters" (1 st edition - 1973, 2-e - 1987).

VS Egorov was born in Kovrov Vladimir region. He studied at the Mstiora Art and Design school. Member of USSR Union of Artists since 1967, participated in many regional, regional, national, all-union and international exhibitions. Honored Artist of Russia (1996).

The exhibition runs until April 30, 2010
