GTGSegodnya, 16 March, at 18.00 in the State Tretyakov Gallery on the Crimean shaft (hall № № 60-61) will start opening of an exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures by Alexander Deineki "to work, build, and not whine!".
A. Deineka (1899-1969) - one of the most striking and significant artists in the history of Russian art of the twentieth century. Group leader OST (Society of Easel), painter, muralist, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor, athlete, winner of the Lenin Prize, author of books ... The Art of A. Deineki today sees the most honest and talented evidence of a bygone era. Lines of poetry poster "to work, build and do not whine!" Answers positive outlook wizard, courage and optimism of his art. The energy of the images of the artist infects, and artistic language, and today is perceived as innovative.

The most important in his work A. Dejneka considered "great basic themes" and "expression language of the new art form. He greatly expanded the boundaries of painting, enriching it by means of art photographs and posters. His art has incorporated the experience of the avant-garde, faith in rebuilding peace and a sense of ownership of time. Key in the artist's motives - aviation, sports and work - were the basis of large-format paintings in which the Soviet "youth and the heroic work wonderfully relaxing. The heroes of his canvases - Donbass coal miners, textile workers, the workers of Petrograd, the players, and along with them, Megaloptera red and blue planes, blimps silver, dark silhouettes of locomotives with a long chain of loaded cars, fast boats, swaying to the shiny surface of marine bays. Piercing tragedy and the emotional power of painting and graphics AA Deineki war years are unique to the Russian art of XX century. For the first time after a long restoration exhibited large-scale paintings from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery "Nikitka - the first Russian drifter" (1940), "Battle of the Amazons" (1947), "Bather" (1951) and "The Cossacks" (1939-1940), exhibited only once, during the life of the artist, in 1941.

A. Deineka became one of the craftsmen who built "person" in Moscow in 1930-50-ies. He worked for the design under construction at the time of buildings: Moscow State University on Lenin Hills, the Palace of Congresses, VSHV (now REC) and the Moscow metro. For the vaults of the station hall "Mayakovsky", opened in 1938, based on sketches A. Deineki were created mosaic "Day of the Soviet Union. Architectural design station was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Exhibition of 1939 in New York. Mosaics are reproduced in the size of nature in the multimedia installation "Metrokomnata.

The variety of art forms and techniques presented at the exhibition, tells us that in the variety of talent, A. Deineki: In addition to paintings, drawings, mosaics are collected here reliefs and sculptures in bronze, stone and wood, as well as sketches of stained glass.

In a commemorative exhibition includes more than one hundred and forty works of A. Deineki from the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, the Kursk art gallery named after AA Deineka, State Literary Museum, Perm State Art Gallery, State Historical Museum, the Central Museum of Armed Forces and private assembly.
