Awful: not yet looked up thinking that the gallery is undergoing change of exposure. But it turns out, the most important thing was the ceiling - there are flying plastic glowing birch logs Nikola Ovchinnikov (b. 1958).
This souvenir national identifier. Cap, boots, matryoshka, birch and red-girl. Or maybe something more. Probably more profound. Because these fly churbaki in various forms for 23 years. Fly and back. At the exhibitions, the museums, the galleries. And it seems to me, still the same fly. Exhibition "They will come back" closes at Aidan March 28, 2010.
