Exhibitions Sergei Yesayan in Paris
 

Next week in Paris will be two events dedicated to artist Sergei Yesayan.

The first of them - one-day exhibition in memory of Sergei Yesayan Paris Indoor Sotheby's, which will be held simultaneously with the display of works, which will be exhibited at the following Russian bid.
Sergei Yesayan exhibition will open on Monday March 8, from 10 to 18 hours. at: Sotheby's Paris, 76 st. Faubourg Saint-Honore, 75008 (Sotheby's Paris, 76 rue du Faubourg St Honore, Paris 75008).


Two years ago I tried to introduce those of you who do not know the works of this remarkable artist. I was lucky - I knew well of this extraordinary man, we were friends.
Serge (refer you to the photos Volodya Sychev, who I hung out for a long time) - a thin, tall, bearded, elegant in every, very shabby clothes, a phenomenally erudite, ironic, funny. He succeeded in everything he touches (he had a wonderful singing, telling the amazing, unbelievable stories, in which it was impossible to believe, and from whom it was impossible to tear myself away, was a connoisseur of fine art - one time he worked as an editor in the decorative arts, the best the Soviet journal for the Arts, spoke in English so that autochthonous island refused to believe that he is a foreigner), unlike many, does not rest on our laurels, his legacy includes several periods, at first glance, quite similar to each other. It should be well accustomed, to explore his creativity, to understand that they represent different facets of a very big talent.

At Sotheby's issued a very handsome brochure, I hang out photos of all the works, which are to be exhibited at this exhibition.

• Two works from the series "Molloy" in 1979, written immediately after his departure from the Soviet Union, before coming to Paris:

The exhibition will be open from 9 th to 20 th March, Opening Day will be held on March 11 from 18 to 21 hours.
