In the Tretyakov Gallery opened an exhibition of works Saryan
February 26 in the State Tretyakov Gallery, with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Embassy of Armenia in Russia will be the opening of the exhibition devoted to 130 anniversary of the birth Saryan. The exhibition will run until March 28, the press service of the Union of Armenians of Russia.
Name Martiros Saryan (1880-1972), a brilliant painter, a theoretician and an outstanding public figure, belongs to the Russian culture and simultaneously a symbol of Armenian art. The artist's works are on permanent display in the Tretyakov Gallery, but the first museum showing his collection of works Saryan entirely.
