Lived and worked in Riga artist Sergei Adamovich Gottlieb (1922 - 1998), author of illustrations to the works of Ivan Franko, M. Kotsyubynskogo, M. Gogol.
In 1950 he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Arts (shop O. Shovkunenko).
Member of USSR Union of Artists.
