From 21 May to 11 June in Rostov-on-Don will be the first South Russia Biennale of Contemporary Art. Biennial, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Rostov region, with the support of the Office of Culture, Rostov-on-Don, Institute of Architecture and Arts, SFU and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.

Biennale is a series of exhibition projects, chief of which was called "Communication session. "The starting point, the reference point of artistic experiment will respect the outer inner circle: Rostov - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Minsk ..." - Reads site Biennale. The program also provides a number of special and parallel projects, including: "Conceptualism here and there" (curated by AI Vvedensky and S. Sapozhnikov), "Society of Lovers of painting and drawing" (curator Alexander Florensky), Radiopary "(curator E . Strelkov), "Other languages, other books" (curated by M. Pogarskij, A. Suzdalev), "Any Penny" (curator K. calendar), "Restricted Zone" (curator Ognev), and others planned to participate authors from various cities of Russia.

In Biennial Conference will be held on Contemporary Art, which is planned to speak Sergei Bugaev (Africa), Leonid Bazhanov, Olga and Alexander Florensky etc.

Artists and art groups are invited to participate in the Biennale.
