Modern Art will exhibit for the first time in the Orthodox Church
In Russia, the first contemporary art exhibition held in the Orthodox church. The exhibition, entitled "Dvoeslovie /Dialogue" will be on display in the temple of the martyr Tatiana at Lomonosov Moscow State University from May 31 to June 14, reported the blog of the artist Mount Chahal. The exhibition was devised Chahal and Deacon Theodore Kotrelev. Supervise it, they will work together with the artist Andrei Filippov. In the temple Tatiana will work exhibited Nikita Alexeev, Kirill Assa, Dmitry Vrubel and Victoria Timofeeva, Vladislav Efimov, Konstantin Zvezdochetova, Vladimir Kupriyanov, Alexander Sigutina, Andrei Filippov, Mount Chahal, as well as the group "Blue soup (it's Alex Good and Daniil Lebedev ). The exhibition is conceived as "a joint statement of intent. "Ideally, we as curators of the exhibition would like to indicate the trend in contemporary art, one way or another developing Christian culture today," - said the organizers. According to them, in the works of the exhibition "theological themes, references to Christian culture can be traced clearly and at the same time carefully and non-speculative, combining at the same time with the actual living artistic language of their works." In recent years the relations of the museum community and the ROC deteriorated after it became aware of the impending mass transfer of cultural heritage of state ownership in the church. In addition, the scandals have provoked the decision to transfer the old icons from the stores of museums in the temples. http://www.lenta.ru/news/2010/02/17/dialog/ |

Once you have a "parsnip not read, but know beforehand that shit" ...
Meanwhile, some of which will be included in the exhibition, already known to http://pics.livejournal.com/chahal/t...%D0%9E%D0%93 /. Kupriyanov, at least, super. By the way, is the author of modern Russia's most expensive picture sold in auction. The conditions under which exposition is formation, imply a very timid and cautious attitude to the subject, the religious feelings. One of the ideologues - Chahal. Hence, all agreed, and no scandal will not. Good. At the level of intuition: the exhibition can be as resonant as the "Russian poor." PS Another look Kupriyanova site houses photographs, especially the cycle "Central Russian Antiquity": http://www.mdf.ru/search/authors/kup...%e0 & page = 2 |
I know not all.
Of those who know: the "blue noses" indifferent attitude, Nikita Alexeev likes of Bone Zvezdochetova delighted - a phenomenally talented artist. |

LCR,
you have decided on a normal issue of the series "Glory to Russia" to answer a personal insult?. I, for example, other people about my work, the artists way, they write: "your work is brilliant, so sharp and ingenious ideas". And as for the group "Blue soup" I ask because I do not see the search operations near the church topics. I hope someone exposes something that they have for the church. |
