ER Kontratovich (Transcarpathian School)
 

Kontratovich ERNEST R. (1912-2009) was born May 17, 1912 at pp. Kallnach Roztoka Velikobereznyanskogo district, Transcarpathian region. In 1932 he graduated from public school of drawing in Uzhgorod. Teachers specialty - I. Bokshay, A. Erdelyi. In 1932 he graduated from Uzhgorod Teachers' Seminary. One of the founders of the Transcarpathian school of painting. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1946, People's Artist of Ukraine (1991)
He died in December 2009
