For sale a collection of material relating to the period of American life David Burliuk 1920s-1960: 27 magazines (30 issues) "Color and Rhyme", 19 personal exhibitions, catalogs, 39 postcards, 6 books, typing (possibly unpublished) translation of poems by his son, David Burliuk Nikolai Burliuk in English, a poster-man show in Lyzon Gallery and two graphic work - pencil drawing 1928. "Enhanced" version of the collection will include an additional 3 books and 3 graphic work. It is also possible inclusion in the collection Rotary Piston portrait of the artist's wife Marousi Burliuk, dated 1920. Most of the materials (with the exception of books and drawings) may be sold separately from the collection.

Burliuk dated his paintings is associative, the dates were not always tied to reality. In this case it is about the age Burliuk, and not the date of writing, painting. This exhibition catalog in 1965, ie majority of the paintings was written in 1964. And this year Burliuk was 82 years old. To confirm his words, I attach an image of another work from this directory, which was signed "Burliuk 1964 To 82nd birthday", ie "after 82 days of birth."
