He graduated from the Penza Art College (1934-38), Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Vserossiiskoi AI in Leningrad (1939-41, 1948-52), where he studied with A. Pakhomov, G. Vereisky, І.Горюшкіна-Sorokopudova, K. Rudakov . Member of CW CFS since 1958. Member republican, union and international exhibitions since 1954. He taught at HHPI (since 1953), Associate Professor (since 1960).
