Max Pechstein was born in the hometown of Schumann, Zwickau. From 1896 to 1900 he studied at the decorator, then enrolled at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied from 1903 to 1906 Already during his studies he began to collaborate with architects, sozravaya Ffor their projects mosaics.
