His famous artist won in 1960. "Severe" style which included paintings by Andrei Vasnetsov, with difficulty making his way because of the dominance of socialist realism. Today the artist is a recognized master, and his paintings are in the Tretyakov Gallery, in many leading museums around the country, as well as in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
The thieves apparently knew the daily routine of the family of the artist, so I chose such an unusual time (14-00 day). It remains a mystery how the huge (2 by 2 meter) cloth is removed from the apartment and quietly loaded into a car parked nearby.
The fact that theft was installed only in the evening. As it became known "MK" from sources in law enforcement, investigators went to the scene of the crime only at 19.00, when all traces and evidence certainly were trampled.
It is worth adding that the apartment of the artist is at the Patriarch's Ponds, in a prestigious area, where at each step are video cameras.

We would lay out here the stolen paintings and the like thieves no place to go. |
