Yoockin Vladimir Yakovlevich (9.06.1920, Mstera - 10.07.2000, Vladimir), a painter, one of the greatest landscape painters of the XX century, a member and one of the founders of the artistic group "Vladimir school of landscape painting." Studied at the Ivanovo Art College (1936 - 1940) and in the Lviv Art Institute (1947 - 1948). Member of USSR Union of Artists (1950), People's Artist of Russia (1995). Member of most major domestic exhibitions of the second half of XX century. Artworks VY Yukina are in museums and private collections in Russia and many countries.
