It is a rare work of one of the founders of abstract art, Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) auctioned famous auction house Christie's.
Written by the artist in 1910, "Sketch for Improvisation № 3 (Studie zu Improvisation 3)", will be offered to collectors at prices ranging from 15 to 20 million dollars during the auction of impressionist and modernist art, which will be held in New York on November 6.
His works Kandinsky conventionally divided into "Impressions", "improvisation" and "composition". Creation of the first abstract paintings improvisation relates to 1910. According to art critics, they mark a departure from a clearly defined topic to a more saturated color abstract forms, giving the viewer to freely indulge in the sensations that gives color.
Results in this series of avant-garde artist created 36 paintings, giving them serial numbers. Christie's experts say that "improvisation sketch number 3" "imbued with the spirit of the Slavic mysticism" and is characteristic only of Kandinsky's artistic interpretation of modernism.
That same evening, Christie's intends to put up for auction a magnificent "Still life with book, pipe and glasses (Livre, pipe et verre)" hand of one of the most important representatives of Cubism, the Spaniard Juan Gris (1887-1927). It was written in 1915 and is estimated from 12,5 to 18,5 million dollars.
Attention collectors will surely attract and sculpture by Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) "Three-reaching I (Trois Hommes qui Marchent I)". It was founded by prominent Swiss sculptor, painter and graphic artist in 1948 and is estimated between 14 to 18 million dollars.
Go under the hammer of the English sculptor Henry Moore (1898-1986), as well as paintings by Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Paul Cezanne.

IMHO, a new record, more than 25 million will go, practically certain.
