Cyril Syzransky,
Yes, really interesting. Beautiful and professional painting shown with the aesthetics of art deco. Photos bad. The original is much spectacular. Kolorit pearly silver. Signature reads fine, but a mystery to me. I would like to see the assumption of authorship. |

And signatures can also be dismantled and the authors look at the 30-ies in Europe. 30-e is interesting. |

Signature can be read, for example, as Cunow. There was a German artist Nelly Cunow (Nelly Cunow 1893-1982), but the signature is from her other - entirely in capital letters, legible. And she wrote in 1930-ies. in a different style (see), although the reproductions of her works are few, and who knows ...
Another version. By type signature is also similar to the signature of the famous American artist Edward Kyukyula (Edward Cucuel 1879-1954). He studied painting in Paris and Munich, participated in exhibitions "Secession" and until 1934 had regular summer in Germany. But I think this version is also unlikely. The fact that the signature on your picture, though similar, but not identical to the signature Kyukyula, which is very stable (see). On the other hand, he wrote not only romantic girls (which, basically, and it is known), but also landscapes and still lifes with flowers. In style as your picture, I think, has some features of style Kyukyula. By the way, quite expensive artist. Maybe work "under him"? Some are versions yet, alas, no. |
