What are you discussing? Sketch-it (always was) an aid to something specific to another ..
These drawings (in the vast majority) seem independent and for me (personally) with "sketches" are not associated ..

Perhaps that shows some types of France, and perhaps Russia and the west of the empire, but in any case, the signature of the Cyrillic alphabet indicates that the Russian language was an artist mother.
