"The Changing Museum in a Changing World, 2009-10.

Potanin Charity Fund, the Ministry of Culture of Russia, under the operational management of the Association of Managers of Culture announced VII Grant competition
"Changing Museum in a Changing World" 2009-10.

November 25, 2009 starts VII Grant competition museum projects. Participants invited Russia's public and private museums and museum organizations. Among the priorities of the competition - the creation of equal conditions for the participants, regardless of their status and location.

The objectives of the contest:

Active adaptation of museums and museum sphere as a whole to changing socio-economic and cultural life;

Support and promotion of the best examples of museum practice in Russia.

Conditions and procedures for participation:

Applications are accepted from November 25, 2009 to February 12, 2010 the following nominations:

Museum and technology tourism;

The museum and new educational programs;

Partnerships museum projects;

Technology museum exhibition;

Museum studies;

Social welfare projects;

"Author's" nomination

Grant Fund competition - 15,400,000 rubles. The maximum grant 700,000 rubles for the "Author's nomination" - 1,000,000 rubles.

The competition is held in two phases. First sent shall be evaluated by experts in terms of brightness of ideas and worthwhile projects for the region. After that, the jury, the public authority of the competition, relying on the opinions of experts selects the semifinalists - 50 projects, whose authors are invited to design an educational seminar. During the study is active communication planners with each other and with the leading museum professionals, then they are finalizing their bids to the level of business plans and re-send them to the jury. In the second stage of the contest will determine the winners of the 20-25 and decide on the level of funding for each project.
