The manuscript's last novel of Vladimir Nabokov's "The Original of Laura" (in Russian translation - "Laura and her original") failed to sell at auction, reportedly at the house Christie's, putting a rarity in the auction.

The most expensive lot of the auction conducted by Christie's on Nov. 4, was the letter of the first U.S. president George Washington.
