Exhibitions in Frankfurt

In half an hour from Frankfurt is a small village Ruselhaym. There, in the local museum (!) Is quite remarkable exhibition of Natalia Goncharova. The exhibition's curator Alla Shilov (former member of the Tretyakov Gallery, living in Germany for 20 years) has gathered an excellent display from the store the Tretyakov Gallery and private collections, moreover, there are works that have never been exhibited or published, in fact, they cool differ from that Goncharova, to which we are accustomed. I later scans the directory and show them. Strikingly, a small German village is the money for such a project, but Russia can not!

Also managed to see two exhibitions. Very good exhibition of Botticelli that surprised: of the approximately sixty works - half from private collections.

The second exhibition - Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, the largest of its personalka for all time. To be honest, was a little disappointed: I always considered him a great master of avant-garde here, looking at a lot of dating work, it became clear that he did everything for a few years later, our avant-garde artists, primarily Rodchenko and Lissitzky. When the avant-garde in Russia "slammed", then it is practically nothing new is no longer made, although it has been recognized as a notable designer.

It is a pity that this exhibition Goncharova, like many other provincial exhibitions, and look at five people. The same thought in mind visit museum Zimmerly (nonconformists from Dodge) - Russian treasures that they are not wanted.

Sandro Botticelli exhibition at the Museum of Shtedel (Städel Museum) collected curators for several years (as, for example. and exhibitions of the Impressionists, Lucas Cranach the article.). so sources are not only well-known museums, and foundations, large and small private meeting: that's the uniqueness of these exhibitions

As promised, I give some interesting works in this exhibition. You saw earlier this Goncharov, as number 3 (a gouache 86h77, 5) or number 4 (oil 188h146)?

Добавлено через 5 минут
And some more. Number 3 - is the kind of work, who was arrested at the exhibition by the police for obscenity, as I wrote in the subject of the Russian Avant-garde.
Work 58, were created Goncharova to her solo exhibition, when she decided that the exposure is not enough pointless work.
