Chagall's paintings brought to Japan by the Moscow Museum of Modern Art - a fake?

Organizers, the newspaper said, insisting that Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the Chagall Committee held direct talks to resolve the disputed issue.
June 21 Moscow Museum of Modern Art opened Japan's first exhibition of Russian avant-garde. In it, in addition to Marc Chagall, works by many other artists, including Natalia Goncharova, Niko Pirosmani and Kasimir Malevich.
