The White House rejected the scandalous pictures
Вложений: 2
Painting by Alma Thomas (Alma W. Thomas), which at the time borrowed from the Washington museum and hung in the office of Michelle Obama in the East Wing of the White House, there no longer hangs, wrote The Washington Post referring to the deputy press secretary of the First Lady of the United States.
Some critics have called the picture "Vatusi (clear contours)" [Watusi (Hard Edge)], referred to, plagiarism: it found the obvious features of the influence of "Snails" by Henri Matisse. Nevertheless, the White House denied rumors that the work of Thomas was removed from the wall because of this: according to the spokesman, the picture just did not come to an interior room. Michelle Obama's special representative noted that other work, Thomas was still hanging in the White House, in particular, painting "Heavenly Light" (Sky Light; it as "Vatusi", borrowed from the Museum Hirschhorn), decorates the residential portion of the President's residence.
