Nikolai Andronov (1929-1998)
 

Now in CHA at beletazhnom floor is exhibition paintings of Nikolai Ivanovich Andronov. Unfortunately no photos.

Nikolai Andronov was born in Moscow in 1929. From 1948 to 1952 he studied in Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. IE Repin, and then at the Moscow Art Institute. VI Surikov from 1952 to 1954, where he later headed the Department of the composition. In his work Andronov continued development of Russian painting traditions of the early XX century, artists of "Jack of Diamonds".

Together with Andrei Vasnetsov, Pavel Nikonov, and Tair Salahov Nikolai Andronov was one of the creators of "severe style" in the Soviet painting 1960. This line marked the beginning of the arena of art new generation of artists - the sixties, to oppose themselves "official" art. The main works of art in this style was open, the image of "everyday life of the country", expressed in a strict and rigid manner.

The focus of the artist - the life of ordinary people, the Russian heartland, nepriyutnaya nature, hard work in the countryside. Quietness and calm anxiety majestic, powerful and strong people - the heroes of his time, reflects the artist in his huge canvases. Huge role in his work is the surrounding nature and its landscapes are all intertwined and connected: the poetry, the capricious moods of Russian nature, the seasons. Nikolai Andronov glorified village life of the Russian north with all its difficulties and joys of his time.

The artist worked hard and architecture - took part in the creation of many magnificent works of new Moscow 1960-1970-ies. This is a huge mosaic (1967), which adorned the perimeter of the upper part of the cinema "October" on the Kalinin Prospekt (Novy Arbat), murals and mosaics in the cafe "Pechora" (1978) and Mosaic Man and printing "(1977) in the new building of the newspaper "Izvestia", received the USSR State Prize in 1979. Also Andronov completed painting interiors hotel "Cosmos" and decorating Paveletsky station after its renovation in 1988. His creativity is reflected in the formation of the next generation of artists.

It is noteworthy that the monumental and easel painting Nikolai Andronov closely intertwined in his art, successfully combining personal and social interests of the artist, the creative heritage which is kept in many museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.

Natalia Egorshino was born in Samara, 28 December 1926
In 1947-53 gg. studied at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Repin. In 1952 she married Nikolai Andronov.

I just wanted her picture more than 60-ies on the same western auction to buy, so the price at the end of the online auction "flew into space."
