In 1926-1930 gg. in Bakhchisaray annually visited the artist Alexander Kuprin. As he created a series of Bakhchisaray landscapes masterfully depicts an organic relationship with the landscape architecture of the city. In 50-ies in Bakhchisarai again worked painter Alexander Kuprin. In 1950 he wrote the painting "The entrance to Bakhchisaray the East Side. Morning" in 1951 - "Rocks in the Russian Village,". Full sun of his painting "Bahchisaray. River Street," created in 1953 In 1954, he had written three paintings: "Durbe Dilara-Bikech", "Evening. Fountain Scheier-Ustyu", "Early morning on Bakhchisarai" (the latter - one of the finest paintings by the artist). In the same year AV Kuprina elected a corresponding member of USSR Academy of Arts. In 1956 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Several paintings by the artist on Bakhchisaraysky theme is found in the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov.
