The Cold War and the Art Market
Read the press - it is clear that there comes the cold war. However, winters in recent years are not the same, cold, so-so, but still. Visas will not stop giving it? I'm trying to understand what the international "cooling off" presents for our market of art? While nothing came up. I get that sort would in any way. Even from a bad mood prices should fall. What are thoughts? What are the risks?

With visa I believe will become more difficult (((And now, it's not easy, but more will be even worse ... Maybe auction houses will no longer break here so come, or the western gallery of salons are not so readily come ... I think prices do not fall, Western players are highly simply think about coming here, that in general it seems to me not so bad)

Russia market for foreigners is not so attractive. The main solvent demand of our fellow citizens have already passed the first two stages (and the national art treasures) and transferred to the third stage of collecting - Intern. A cream auction house will now be collected in the markets of China and later India.
And without political tension is already evident on the auction calendars. |
