August 20, 2009 the People's artist of Ukraine Alexander Saenko marks 110 years

A. Saenko is better known abroad than at home. At the initiative of UNESCO's name Saenko added to the list of eminent culture of peace.

His fate was largely determined by the disease. Scarlet fever at the beginning of last century, when antibiotics had not yet been invented, was deadly. Perebolev in childhood, Alexander Saenko survived, but permanently lost the opportunity to hear and speak. A graduate of the St. Petersburg Imperial College and the Kiev Art Institute - he was a highly educated person and professional, but quite unable to stand up for themselves. Ashamed of society and did not like to live in the city:
