By Alexander P. Ivanov (1876 - 1940) - the art scholar, writer, mathematician, historian of art, modern art department head of the Russian Museum., His brother - Eugene - was a friend of Alexander Blok. The terms of the interests of the family was closely linked with the "World of Art".

Book is illustrated with the author's wife, the artist Yevgeny Smirnov Alekseevna-Ivanov (1875-1970), pupil of N. Roerich. Aunt artist Boris Smirnov-Rusetsky (1905-1993).

Elena Korova (1901 - 1974), is another talented pupil of Nicholas Roerich. There is in her paintings something of a genius teacher. Probably spent his childhood in Harbin and later studies (1914 -1917) in the St. Petersburg school of the Society for the Encouragement of Arts at the Roerich Naumova greatly influenced her future work.
