Andrew and Olga Dugin
 

Andrej Dugin was born in Moscow in 1955. Worked in the Krasnopresnenskaya Art School, where he met Olga studetkoy Kotikova. Andrew studied at the Art Institute. VI Surikov, and also worked as an illustrator for various Russian magazines and publishing houses. In 1984-1985 he was the chief artist in creating Russian animated films.

Olga Kotikova (Dugin) was born in Moscow in 1964. Studied at the Krasnopresnenskaya Art School, where she met with Andrei Dugin, who at that time was her teacher. She graduated from Moskvosky Art College in 1988, worked as a designer for magazines and movies, as well as an illustrator for publishers Ladoga.

In 1984 Andrej Dugin and Olga Dugin married. In 1989, they began to cooperate with the Verlag JF Schreiber, subsequently renamed Esslinger Verlag. Andrew and couple illustrated fairy tales. Since 1992, they live in Stuttgart (Germany).

In the meantime they are known in different countries. They have won contracts to design the Harry Potter films, and to illustrate a new book by Madonna. Nevertheless couple continues to work with publishers Esslinger Verlag.
