On Sunday, my daughter pulled out of their parents at Red Bull Flugtag 2009. Who knows - one firm (I will not advertise it) holds around the world stupid event on - someone prettier and more flies on the most stupid device, yet will not fall into the water from a height of 6 m. This was first done in the early 1990's years in Austria (hence the German name for the holiday).

In Russia the first time took part in 31 "flying" machine. The Russians have broken all records on the number of applications - it was more than 3 thousand willing to build something strange and impress everyone around you. But they could not even begin to approach the record of the same Austrians - 60 meters of flight!

You can compare this show with an exhibition, performances of contemporary conceptualists-aktualschikov. All color and bright, calculated for an external effect. There are ideas - sometimes interesting, sometimes none. His ideas of the participants were required to express in a performance * 30 seconds before the start.
The only difference is that for those moving installation did not ask for money, but the work itself killed a few minutes after the show the audience.

In my opinion, was evaluated by the judges range from -1 m to 5-6m. maximum (in rare cases). All of this reminds me so much contemporary "art" that I decided to share impressions.

Make good photos in the flight could not: the absence of the flight and the lack of a convenient place for photography. I had a very good place for ordinary visitors in the first row, as the main masses of the people watched the show on TV screens.
