The Ukrainian and Russian painter, landscape painter. Born in Kiev. In 1980 he studied at KRSH them. N. Murashko, where at that time served pre H. Platonov, N. Pimonenko, Seleznev. After school, took an active part in the Kiev art exhibitions as a landscape painter. One of the most significant works of this period - a picture of "Compressed field", which was displayed at an exhibition in 1890. In 1899 - 1903 he studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Qualified as an artist for the painting "Autumn Morning" (1903). A member of the Kiev islands promotion of arts and O-va drawing teacher in St. Petersburg. One of the few surviving works by the artist, "Portrait of Taras Shevchenko", executed in the technique of pencil drawing by the Italian, is located in the State Museum of Taras Shevchenko.
