About etu now know very little help to find at least some information. It is known that the picture about 150-200 years, possibly Dutch or Flemish school. Perhaps it is depicted on the plot of Romeo and Juliet, when they entered the cell to the monk Lorenzo. The picture shows a night, the moon shines. Some restorers and artists now estimated at least 5000 dollar.

And who is the author? What is the price of cards
HN? How is the picture? Help find out.

thanks in advance. Write to me at email - tarviky@gmail.com

I would say that this third-rate artist of the late 18 th century, perhaps, the Netherlands.
Plot rather biblical.
Maybe not the end of 18, but the beginning.
The artist can not be Dutch, and Czech.

Type size 60x80?

Then why is Romeo barefoot and with his staff in his hand? On the morning of Verona leave?

I totally agree with Kirill, for Romeo and Julia, this story has no relevance.
There monk lived in a monastery, where they were married. There is likely to weary travelers ask to sleep to the hermit.

Roughly speaking, the paintings on the themes of drama to the 19 th century was not.
Well, at least until the Romantic era.

If there is a monk-hermit, it might be a scene from some biographies.

Left strongly commends the Dutch karavadzhizmom, and the right - some Art Van der Nerom.

It is possible that this is a copy of some of the original, but later on.
