Effect time: the effect of Russian avant-garde of modern fashion
 

Today at the Jewish Museum to the public opens the exhibition "the Effect of time: the influence of the Russian avant-garde of modern fashion. The organizers rightly decided not to overload the concept. In the great hall on the walls hung works of Russian avant-garde 1910-х – 1930-х years. And in the center of the room mounted cabinets with dresses leading fashion houses. Chloe, Issey Miyake, J. W. Anderson, Loewe, Valentino, Mary Katrantzou. And the viewer immediately clear. Here is a Valentino dress 2016, as if descended from pictures of Sonia Delaunay 1920-х years. And the left – bodycon outfit from Issey Miyake 2016 with an ornament, which has developed an "organic" circle Matyushin almost a hundred years ago.

Geometric patterns, optical effects, colour music " @ - all the ideas of Russian avant-garde of a century ago, still define the face of modern fashion.

The paintings and graphics of avant-garde curators gathered in regional museums and in private collections. A significant part of the works came from private collections – by Iveta and Tamaz manasherovyh, family Krivosheeva, Marina and Boris Molchanov, the gallery Ildar Galeev and others.
